Dying to get down to the latest Gnarls Barkley, but too busy changing diapers and cleaning flung Gerber off the ceiling? The only solution is to navigate your jogging stroller to the D Note, 7519 Grandview Avenue in Arvada, today and most Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m. for Baby Boogie, where hip parents go to get down and hip toddlers go to, well, drool and stuff.

While the little ones play with toys and shake it to OutKast's "Hey Ya," Mommy and Daddy can chill over beers at the bar. (Don't worry: Organizers promise that all songs feature lyrics that can be "sung back to Grandma safely.") And while it's true that some grownups have been spotted flopping around on the floor during this event, it's not from all the suds: They're just excited about the They Might Be Giants tunes and the Playmobil play sets. Baby Boogie bartenders make sure that no one gets sloshed before driving their progeny home. For more information, call 303-463-6683 or go to www.dnote.us.
